NSTimer and NSThread

  • Subject: NSTimer and NSThread
  • From: Andrew Duncan <email@hidden>

Hi all,

It seems, from testing, that an NSTimer started from within an NSThread
dies when the thread dies. Is this correct?

The docs suggest obliquely (because the timer is registered with the
current NSRunLoop) that this is so, but it's not explicit.

Can anyone confirm one way or the other?

Many thanks,
