I installed my developer tools on my laptop and saved some space (only
have 9GB disk) by not installing the cross-development SDK. At first I
did not understand this new option (didn't seem necessary before), but
now I see my application developed in XCode can only run in Panther.
Some questions:
1. How do I get cross development SDK installed now? Can I add them
somehow or do I have to delete developer tools and reinstall the entire
package again with them?
2. Shouldn't one always cross-develop back to 10.1? What's the point of
limiting audience for a program. Does cross development make the
application bigger or slower or have some other deleterious effect such
as slower compilations?
3. Can I just install the 10.1 cross development to have something 10.1
and newer or are all the intervening ones required too?
4. What has changed now that requires this new option?
