Hi,

I have solved the problem by making the .pkg into a .dmg file. But still wondering why the package can't be copied...

Regards,
sean

Hi all,

I have created a xx.pkg which consists of an application and a device driver. I have successfully installed the package. Now the problem is, I want to copy the xx.pkg to a removeable flash storage device, but copy denied with error "The operation cannot be completed because some data cannot be read or written". I have no problem copying the xx.pkg to other partition of the system's harddisk. I tried with other standard package downloaded, there is no problem.

Why is this so? I am using PackageMaker 1.1a10. I have created directories and copy the files with sudo (root) in the terminal.

Regards,
sean
