Hi,
It is an NSProgressIndicator which can find in the Interface Builder. You
can call [xxProgessIndicator startAnimation: self] /stopAnimation: in your
application.
Best regards,
sean

When Safari is loading a web page in one of its tabs, it shows a spinning
indicator on the right side of the tab. This indicator looks like a "sun"
and is composed of radial lines around a blank circle.
What do people call this indicator? Is there any consensus on a name?
And is there an API (Cocoa, Carbon, etc) that I could use to display this
indicator in my own apps?
I've tried searching the mamasam archives without success - probably
because
I don't know what search term to use.
