When are we going to see XCode for Jaguar? Does anyone have any info on this? Also, will there be an update to Jaguar that includes the new NSController classes? I expect there won't be, but it would be a very nice thing. Especially since we can't reasonably expect everyone to be using Panther for some time and if the NSController classes are Panther only then that would severely limit their audience.

This was on the PB list about a week ago... I read it as indicating XCode is Panther only. This might be something to bring up on the new XCode list.

Xcode Tools v1.0 will ship with Mac OS X v10.3. The Xcode Tools package replaces the Project Builder based Mac OS X Development Tools package for Panther and beyond. Xcode Tools 1.0 cannot be installed on earlier versions of Mac OS X. Developers using Xcode Tools on Panther can target development for Mac OS X v10.1.x, v10.2.x and v10.3 using the SDK feature, allowing one to build and link against earlier versions of the OS headers and frameworks.

best,
Godfrey
