I ran the August 2003 updater to install gcc 3.1. However, PB doesn't seem to be aware of this. At least, when I select Targets and do get info, I get choices of gcc 2.95, 3.1 and "default". I'm missing something simple here??

This issue has been covered many times on this list; please search the archives at

for more information.

A brief summary is that PB doesn't support GCC 3.3, and even the GCC 3.1 option will not work if 3.3 is installed (PB will run GCC 2.95 instead), unless you set the default compiler back to 3.1. If you want to use GCC 3.3 from PB, you need to set some options in the settings for your Target.

Kind regards,

Alastair.
