Has nobody seen this bug?
No, but when I switched to Mac (~2 years ago) I noticed that two things
changed when I typed fast -- 1) letters are sometimes exchanged (e.g.
"prolbem" instead of "problem") and 2) shift (and other modifiers) are
sometimes sticky for the next letter or ignored for the actual letter.
I have been typing on dozen different keyboard through the last 15
years and never ever have I experienced this before, and the frequency
for these mistakes are actually quite high.
Till now I have blamed the (cheap?) keyboard which came with my Mac.
Long story short: could it be that you experience the "sticky shift"
which will just insert a plain newline, instead of trigger the special
return action?
