Indeed. I was a little confused when I compared the OP to his own
quoted material.
I suggest you look into the educational discounts that may be available
to you.
Especially the revised prices on the eMacs. Sean, if you're in Higher
Ed. then you can buy an eMac for GBP349+Tax, which is great except that
it doesn't have an optical drive[*]. So if you plan to do any upgrading
to 10.4[**] in the near future, you need to find a University ethernet
point you can plug the Mac into for netinstalling.

you turn it on. Wonder what happens here....
