You're being rather vague, here. Have you filed bug reports for any
instances of this instability that you have observed?
Since XCode 1.2, like all previous versions of XCode is offered free of
charge, and includes many improvements over 1.1, we recommend that all
users of XCode update to 1.2.
The original 1.0 that is included with server seems to be about the
most
stable platform, updating to 1.1 seems to be as stable as well, doing
a full
install of 1.1 does not seem to be as stable for some reason as I
believe some of
the included core software has minor changes.
For those with fast connections, not including a single file download
is
annoying but this is Apple we're speaking of and they have not been
known in the
past to do things that would conceivably be considered an intelligent
move or a
considerate notion but downloading the individual segments and then
using
Disk Utility to join the segments only takes a few moments longer.
It's not necessary to join the segments together. Just make sure
you've downloaded all of them, that they're in the same directory, and
double click on any of them. Finder will do the right thing.
