The more options I have available, the better-equipped I am as a
developer. That's what CamelBones is about - it's not about competing
with some other language, it's about adding another option.
Actually I'm quite familiar with Perl, and I've taken a good look at
CamelBones in the past (particularly when I was porting Frozen Bubble
to OS X). I'm not saying Python is better than Perl on every account,
but in this particular case with about 10 lines of non-template Python
code (8 of which are in my tutorial, and the other two in my previous
email) he could have something up and running in a NSTableView... which
is less work than he already did writing the mock csv-reading code in
his email.
