You can't possibly make an accurate assessment of his choice of
languages based solely on the small amount of code he posted here. He
might have a 10kloc content-management system that's written in Perl,
and he might want a model class that he can easily integrate into that.
Or he might be learning CamelBones with the aim of doing that in the
future.
The fact is, without more information than was posted here, you have
*no* idea whether his choice of language was a good one or not. Your
post was language evangelism, nothing more. Please, stop it.
