They have a slow DNS server or otherwise improperly configured hostnames?
It's almost certainly related to DNS lookup timeout.

Several customers are complaining that my app would not launch after they installed 10.3.7.

After some experimenting I found out that the app hangs in [NSHost currenthost].

Eventualy (after more than a minute) the call completes and the app continues without any further problems.

Normally (10.3.5,10.3.6) this call completes within a few seconds but with 10.3.7 it now takes more than a minute!

Any ideas?
