Robert,
I work for a company called eSellerate that is an eCommerce service geared towards shareware developers. Let me preface this by saying that I'm not a sales person, and I don't usually hawk my own wares on here. Actually, I work mostly with the installer (MindVision) side of our company. With that said, eSellerate provides several ways for you to sell your software. It allows you to integrate the sales process into your application using our SDK or create a webstore (or both!). It can handle generating serial numbers if you don't have your own serial number scheme yet, and it can host custom serial number generators if you already have one. eSellerate handles every aspect of the sales process, from verifying and charging the user's card, to sending out confirmation emails and serial number, and it even offers after-purchase services for your customers.
Everything is managed from your eSellerate Publisher account. You can add or remove products, change SKU prices, track sales and customers, manage returns (and fulfillment if you're shipping goods), set up automatic CD fulfillment (which gives the customer the option to purchase a CD with their software and we'll burn and ship the CD ourselves), and quite a few other things that I won't list here ;). We also offer an affiliate program and portals to increase your sales channels. If you're worried about piracy, you can use our Product Activation feature to tie a serial number to a specific machine, so peopel can't just post your serial number on warez boards and register your software as many times as they like.
All fees are taken as a percentage of your sales, which means that you don't pay any sign-up or monthly fees. We don't take any money until you start selling. Typically, the percentage we take of each sale is going to be between 10% and 15% (depending on your gross yearly sales). I'd encourage you to visit www.esellerate.net and sign up for a trial account. You can try out the system and see what everything looks like without having to sign any type of contract. If you have any other questions, feel free to email me.
Josh Ferguson

Hey all!
After finishing my wonderful piece of software, i would like to make
some money out of it (who wouldn't :-) )
I've seen a lot of ways for inning the money asked for, some are by
cheque, paypal or otherwise.
I would like to ask your suggestions regarding this matter since i am a
total newbie at it!
With kind regards,
Robert K.
