Please read the most recent proceedings in the scientific literature
that
proves what I am saying.
Can you give me some references? The main theoretical journal in the
space is The Journal of Cryptology [1] but most of the best papers come
out in conference proceedings for events such as Crypto, EuroCrypt and
AsiaCrypt [2]. Bruce Schneier has a useful bibliography of papers [3]
as does Ron Rivest [4]. For general overview information you might
want to take a look at the sci.crypt Cryptography FAQ [5]. While I
can't say that I've read every paper in the lists I've yet to come
across any suggestion that 128 bit symmetric cryptography using ciphers
such as AES is anything other than secure for most practical purposes.
If you can point me to any papers to the contrary I'd love to know.
Nicko
