The recommendation is to use the new stuff if you can. It adds
quite a bit of additional control and feedback.
If you have to run on Jaguar as well (and can't stipulate that
Safari is installed) then NSURLHandle gives you a fallback position.
Just so I get this correctly: What about using the CFNetwork
framework? (The thing is, that I already completed a lot of my work
with the Core Foundation stuff and am getting a little scared because
nobody's mentioning that at all :-) )
All this stuff is built on CFNetwork, so you're OK. :-)
