AppleScript create command

  • Subject: AppleScript create command

I would like to have AppleScript create an instance of my model object.
The init method for the model object is:
[Metadata alloc [initWithFile:theFile]];

As I understand things, the AppleScript make command does not handle this case, so I need to have my own command to do this.
The Applescript code would be of the form:

make new Metadata from "filename"

I know how to pass filename as an argument to the command in the .scriptSuite property list file, what I can't figure out is how to pass the object Metadata. Also, how do I use the Metadata parameter in my init method?

Thanks for any help,
