For one thing, it would clutter the subject line, requiring a wider
subject column in your mail client. Call me picky, but that would bug
me. Redundant information only adds clutter.
For another thing, even if you only have one e-mail address, you can
still set up a rule that says, "If the recipient is
email@hidden, highlight and move to this folder..." or
something similar. If you have the luxury of multiple e-mail addresses,
create and/or use one *only* for the list and the sorting should be
trivial.
The latter is what I do, anyway.

If a moderator is watching this list, can I recommend that the subject
line start with [Cocoa-Dev] or something like that so that the list
can be easily sorted by a mail client. I know mailman can do this
easily and it appears this list uses mailman.
Maybe someone else can tell me if this was suggested before and why it
was declined... or who I should really make this request to.
