Hi Jonathan,
Can you not just set up a mail action where the messages containing
"email@hidden" (which appears in the footer of each
message) in the message text itself gets filed in a cocoa-dev mailbox
(or whatever you need to do with it). Checking the to/cc fields doesn't
always work as some people seem to bcc the list (meaning your rule
doesn't pick it up and occasional cocoa-dev messages start popping up
in your Inbox).
Personally I'm not into the list name being prepended to the message
subject, as you end up needing a wider column (= wider window) to see
what the message is actually about (assuming the sender put a sensible
subject in of course).
If you want to ask the list administrator though, they're contactable
(I think) at the URL located in the footer of each list mail. I don't
know of any previous requests / votes etc. so can't help you on the
"was it suggested before" front.
Hope this helps,
Ken

If a moderator is watching this list, can I recommend that the subject
line start with [Cocoa-Dev] or something like that so that the list
can be easily sorted by a mail client. I know mailman can do this
easily and it appears this list uses mailman.
Maybe someone else can tell me if this was suggested before and why it
was declined... or who I should really make this request to.
