I don't see anything like "Show Detailed Build Results" under the Build
menu.
There is a "Show Build Warnings and Errors". However, I have turned
this on.
The checkboxes indicating that errors should be shown are checked.
Any other suggestions?

Yes, use the 'Show Detailed Build Results' window in the 'Build' menu
(I think it's in Project Builder, I know it's in XCode). That outta
tell you why it's failing.
