Thanks for all the great and immediate feedback!
So elating to be able to take a hurdle this quickly.
Someone said "be careful with the "put in foreground no matter
what"-functionality" --> very true..but since i'm implementing an
"alarm" functionality that the user is setting herself, i figured she
would appreciate it, if notified once the time is up :D
it's working like charm!
