Controlling Volume with NSSound?

Hello List,

Does anybody know of a way to control the volume of an NSSound? I know there is no direct API for it within NSSound, but maybe a coreAudio workaround? I considered using NSMovie and QuickTime API's, but there is just too much overhead there for what I'm trying to do.

I looked into the AudioToolbox API's but it's greek to me. If anyone has any sample code to accomplish this, I would appreciate it.

APPLE! Please add volume control to NSSound in the next revision!

Best Regards,
Michael Briscoe
