tablet & inkwell

Hi all,

Is it possible to turn off inkwell programatically?

I'd like to use my tablet on a custom application for among others handwriting recognition. In my application the active area on the tablet should correspond to the area of a custom view, not the whole screen. This in fact works, but the problem is that while I'm writing on the custom view, the arrow pointer is moving over the screen. So if I start writing in the upper left part of my custom view, I might open the apple menu.
Of course I still want to be able to open the apple menu with my mouse!

Many thanks,

Don
