Java Swing or Java Cocoa

  • Subject: Java Swing or Java Cocoa

Hi

I'm currently researching the building of a client application which really should be cross platform but I don't want to compromise in the OS X user experience.

I've found a helpful previous post from Bill Bumgarner:
Re: Native Cocoa vs Java performance question
http://lists.apple.com/archives/cocoa-dev/2003/Apr/15/ nativecocoavsjavaperform.txt
... also the following MacNN thread was useful:
http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=186681

I'd like to know if there have been any new developments that would realistically allow the building of a Java Swing app which uses sheets, drawers, toolbars etc.

Thanks in advance

Danny
