Hi,
a new version of UKUpdateChecker is out. This version supports the
MacPAD .plist file format for storing your update information. (the
old format is still supported, of course, but you are encouraged to
use MacPAD files for new projects). Get NiftyFeatures 0.3 with
UKFeedbackProvider and UKUpdateChecker here:

Don't know what MacPAD is? MacPAD is the future of third-party
software distribution. Find out more about it here:

Basically, it is a way to store information about new software
releases/updates, pricing, publisher, product page and download URLs
in a structured way that can be processed easily by the big software
update sites.
There's also a MacPAD-based software updating application in the
works, and the MacPAD SDK itself includes a pretty interface for
editing MacPAD files as well as public domain source code for Cocoa,
Carbon and REALbasic software update checking menu items.
