I did a little bit of experimentation and I found out that when the memory size starts to grow when I click on the menu to see its contents.

Now could this be because once I get the icon of a file I resize it? When the menu gets built the memory usafge stays acceptable, but when I "open" the menu memory increases a lot (almost 200 MB needed for the application folder is just crazy).

Any ideas?
