Are you calling AuthorizationExecuteWithPrivileges from within a
privileged helper tool? It's not intended to be called from
user-level apps.

hello,
i sent this email one time before but got no answer.
perhaps it isn't recommended to use /sbin/SystemStarter for starting
StartupItems ?
old msg:
if i try to call /sbin/SystemStarter restart {name} with
AuthorizationExecuteWithPrivileges, it seems to do nothing.
i can open other apps that need root, the permissions are right, i
don't know why it don't work.
can anyone help ?
thanks!
