Sorry to say it hasn't worked. I've also looked at the GnuStep source for Gorm (their IB equivalent) and it gave some valuable ideas, but in the end I didn't really manage to write an IBEditor that worked properly. So I gave it up for now, as 99% of my IBPalette now work without it.

I filed two bugs against IB about things I noticed during IBPalette development, rdar://38713592 and rdar://3873601, the latter asking for IBEditor documentation and samplecode.

That said, I fixed lots of bugs in my NSSplitView replacement, and wrote some more comments. Everything really seems to work properly now, so, to the about one hundred people that downloaded it, there's the new version up at the same URL:
