Greetings: Does anyone know of a software than can find a string pattern within an Image (GIF, JPEG, etc.)?

Example scenario: Find 'Ann Arbor' in map of Michigan.

I need to know the coordinates and preferably the length (pixels) of the found (NSString) pattern within the image.
