Ric -

Any OCR app can do that. Acrobat Professional comes to mind. Lots of things you can do once an image with text is OCR'd into a PDF. You can extract useful info from the metadata in a PDF.

Greetings:
Does anyone know of a software than can find a string pattern within an Image (GIF, JPEG, etc.)?

Example scenario: Find 'Ann Arbor' in map of Michigan.

I need to know the coordinates and preferably the length (pixels) of the found (NSString) pattern within the image.

Ric.
