Hi Joseph,
thanks for your response...it appears though as if these examples only
notify on *changed* files? Im looking for something that will allow me
to receive notifications when a file is opened without necessarily
being changed.
<g> or am I missing the point?
thanks agian.

Hi all,
Im a bit of a newbie at cocoa im afraid...
is it possible to use kevents to know when a file is merely being
opened or closed? Im using Uli's wonderful UKKQueue class and its
working nicely, giving me notifications whenever the file is renamed
or altered etc, but I need to know when the file is *opened*
specifically.
has anyone done this? is it even possible using the kqueue stuff?
thanks for any help.
Yours cheerfully,
Andrew Bush
