Turn off ZeroLink?

I need help with this...
My app will not startup if I move it to another account. But if I rebuild
it in that account it will start.
Same if I move the app to another computer, it will not startup, but if I
rebuild it on the that computer it will start.
Can someone please tell me what's going on. This is very frustrating.

I had a similar problem last night. Most peculiar behavior. I have a small app that I developed on my Panther system but need to run on Jaguar as well. So I built it with the XCode cross development settings. WOW, that was really much too easy after I figured out I had to manually do a compatibility check in IB and fix a couple of things. Too bad IB doesn't do the checking for you when you save or build.
However I still had a problem. I built the app with Deployment style, Zero Link turned off. Then I copied it across my LAN to two Jaguar systems, both running the latest Jaguar update.
My app worked perfectly on one of the systems and NOT the other. It exited while launching with an error 22 according the the crash log. The app has no hardware configuration dependencies.
I wasn't entirely happy with the app anyway so I made some mostly cosmetic modifications on my Panther development computer. Did another Deployment build and copied it again to my two Jaguar systems.
Now the app runs fine on BOTH systems.
So now I wonder if I send it out to other people on Jaguar if I'll have problems.
anyone have any clues about what happened the first time?
