I'm calling TIFFRepresentation on an NSImage to be able to export the image as a TIFF. I'm now getting reports that some people using PCs can't see the images. The reports didn't include any real details, of course, so I'm not sure about versions of Windows or anything like that. I just wanted to ask the community if anyone had seen this before?

Presence of alpha (transparency) could cause generation of tiffs that some other readers might not understand. "tiffutil -info" will tell you whether a tiff file has an alpha channel or not.
