I'm calling TIFFRepresentation on an NSImage to be able to export the

TIFF can sometimes be a real pain as its contents can vary quite a bit.
Recently at work, a TIFF exported from Photoshop 7 running on 10.3
(exported with LZW compression and PC ordering) couldn't be opened on
some PCs. But others opened it a-ok. We haven't yet looked into the
exact reasons why.
I'm afraid you'll have to dig into the details on this one. Perhaps
the PCs that cannot open the TIFF have older software installed? (e.g.
whatever app they using to view the images).
Do you have to use TIFF? If not, you could leverage QuickTime to
output formats that should have better luck with other platforms.
