It's possibly I've misunderstood what exactly you have in your
tabview. I did my test on text fields.
It doesn't matter if it's buttons or text fields.
Interestingly enough, the proper "tabbing" behavior occurs even when I
don't specifically set up
the initialFirstResponder and nextKeyViews.
Then I get the same unintended behavior that I get when setting up
nextKeyViews and first responder.
Are you trying to tab between buttons?
Yep, but as I said, text fields seem to behave the same.
Are you trying to include the ability to tab outside of the tab view
and back in?
No; that's my crucial point: I want the first responder to be inside of
the tab view, and then the whole tabbing circle to stay inside the tab
view, and never reach the tab view items or other buttons/text fields
in the main window (but outside of the tab view).
I saved my test file and if you'd like, I'll send it to you.
If you really got exactly the above working, it would be interesting if
you sent it to me; just so that we can find out where the crucial
difference lies.
Bye
Uli
