Here are some comments that I have about Xcode and SCM:

My recommendation would be:
1. Try Subversion instead of CVS - it plays better with Cocoa projects
(IMHO).
2. Do your SCM tasks outside of Xcode.  Subversion has a slick GUI called
SVNx (and CVL is pretty good for CVS).
