Yes.
Putting in a feature that produces code that only
works correctly on the developers' machine as a default option seems
incredibly wreckless.
Not if you know how to use the build styles feature. I like ZeroLink;
the feature cuts down on re-linking time whenever changes are made,
which can be quite often if you test as you write in a large project.
Whether it is a good idea at all is another
discussion but making it default just seems like a bad joke.
Ultimately it's up to developers to figure out the difference between
build styles, and actually use them when appropriate. There are still
plenty of products floating around out there that were built with no
optimization and debugging symbols present, and to me that shows there
needs to be more education on Xcode's build style feature and the
difference between the two default build styles.
