How in the world do you bind the documents edit state when using bindings to
update your data? I'd assume this would be cooked in there, but I can't find
anyway to get this to work.


As an added bonus, how would I get Undo/Redo hooked in as well?

Undo/Redo is best implemented in the accessors for the data.  Aaron has some information on this in his latest book revision.
