thanks, but touch did not seam to work, but copying it out of the folder /System/Library/Keyboard\ Layouts and into ~/Library/Keyboard\ Layouts got it to refresh after a restart. Now if I could only figure out how to add my own.

Is there any documentation of the .keylayout xml format or of how to add a custom keylayout?
