Customizing the control tint color(s)

Hello all,

For a very dedicated WebKit app, we are contemplating the idea of using another control tint color than the default (Blue or Grey). We have tried various category and poseAsClass: variants (of e.g. NSColor) etc. to see if the customization would be possible this way. That doesn't seem to be the case. Anyone that knows how to "achieve" this level of UI look-and-feel customization?

Regards,
