I see that there are a couple of threads from a year ago on this list that
suggest that this notification doesn't work as documented (this is the
notification that should be sent when you select a value in the people
picker, a value being e.g. one of the available email addresses for a
particular person in your address book).
Whilst I can receive other notifications from this class ok (e.g.
ABPeoplePickerNameSelectionDidChangeNotification) it appears that the bug
related to the Value notification still exists in 10.3.9.
I just wondered if anybody had found a workaround to this bug (other than
abandoning the people picker altogether). I was wondering for instance if
anybody had managed to use a combination of double click invocation and the
selectedValues method? I had a quick play with this myself but didn't get
very far.
