The omnigroup frameworks are pretty solid pieces of work, but there
are lots of interdependencies and little documentation.

You might also want to check out some of the code available at
http://www.cocoadev.com/index.pl?ObjectLibrary .  Mostly standalone
classes or groups of a few classes, but lots of interesting stuff
there.
