MOKit 2.8 is the most recent release of MOKit.

Historically speaking, MOKit 1.x was merged with MiscKit back when I took a job with NeXT many years ago. Since then MOKit 2 started as a brand new project. MOKit 2 is still being developed (although not with lightning speed :-). 2.8 is the most recent release and the biggest one in a while in terms of new stuff. In particular the MOViewController stuff is worth a look. MOKit is currently hosted at sourceforge:

I don't really know the current status of MiscKit. I know there was a bit of a revival of it after Apple started releasing Mac OS X, but I do not know whether that burst of momentum was maintained.

Mike
