SyncServices: identifier problem

Hello,

I am working with Sync Services at the moment. Trying to sync with iCal. Looks like everything would be fine, except one thing..
Lets say I have an Event in iCal and I need to convert into Task (to- do). The problem is object identifier, which is used by sync service. I need that new Task would have the same identifier as the old Event. Is this possible at all?
By the way - before pushing new task, I have pushed changes for event to delete it.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Rimas M.
