I am working with Sync Services at the moment. Trying to sync with iCal. Looks like everything would be fine, except one thing..
Lets say I have an Event in iCal and I need to convert into Task (to-do). The problem is object identifier, which is used by sync service. I need that new Task would have the same identifier as the old Event. Is this possible at all?

I don't think it's possible to morph records in the Truth. You should instead delete the event and add the equivalent task.
