Automator, AppleScript, and Cocoa

  • Subject: Automator, AppleScript, and Cocoa

I'm trying to create an Automator workflow/action, and when it retrieves a list of selected files from a list, it seems to place them in an AppleScript list. Is there a way to pass this list to a Cocoa application as arguments (such as if the files were dropped on the application icon)?

If not this, then is there a way to send the list of selected Finder files in a format that would work best with a shell script, or would I need to send the list to an AppleScript?
