I contacted ADC about this earlier and was told that there are NO
DVDs being put out for 2005 (and I assume the future).
I was *extremely* disappointed, especially since there was no mention
of this change before I purchased my WWDC 2005 Tickets. Given the way
WWDC is scheduled, one of the key values associated with it is the
ability to view other sessions later. Apple seems to feel STREAMING
VIDEO is equivalent to either downloadable or DVD. I believe they are
dead wrong on both counts.
(To this day, streaming video IS STILL painful. I have yet to
encounter a streaming video from Apple or anyone else that doesn't
involve a significant number of stalls and buffering issues -- making
it painful to watch)
I believe that this results in the costs for WWDC being much higher
(WITH CONSIDERABLY LESS VALUE). I'm sure the issue will come up again
when they ask me why I haven't purchased a ticket for WWDC 2006!!

Has anybody who attended WWDC 2005 received a DVD set of the sessions?
I e-mailed ADC and they replied with a rather generic answer pointing
out that the sessions were 'exclusively available online'. Does this
mean there are not going to be any DVDs? Or are they just slow this
year?
