Replacement for openUntitledDocumentOfType:display:?

  • Subject: Replacement for openUntitledDocumentOfType:display:?

The docs say that NSDocument's -openUntitledDocumentOfType:display: is deprecated in 10.4, but there's no indication of what it's to be replaced by. Everything from the current documentation on Apple's website [1] to the most recent reference to it that I can find on this list [2] says it's the go-to method.

I'm currently using it in my application without issue, but is there something else I should call instead when running on Tiger? Thanks!

- Jeff
