This page might be helpful, even if you do have to suffer white text on a dark-blue background...

Also, did you know that "Sketch.app" implements scriptability? Consult your local examples directory.

I can't seem to make my app scriptable, no matter what I try, and no matter how many docs I read. It's gotten incredibly frustrating.

(I've done this in the Carbon world, btw, and I'm starting to think that not everything is easier in Cocoa, so please prove me wrong)

Anyway, I've created "scriptSuite" and"scriptTerminology" files, and the Script Editor doesn't recognize my app. I've also tried putting the script definitions into an old-school 'aete' resource. "Script Editor" does now recognize the app, and I can see my app's dictionary, but then when I run the script, my event-handler never gets called, and an error is returned to the Script Editor, which is useless.

So, if there is a small Cocoa-based app which implements one or two AppleEvents, I'd be really happy to take a look at it.

Thanks,
-Dan.
