Help Anchors

  • Subject: Help Anchors

I have an app with Help with several anchors (like <a name="Section01"></a>).

When I use the Help Viewer find panel on Panther and it finds an interesting section, I click on it, but the help page is not opened at the anchor in question but at the very top.
Not really good, but not too bad either.

But on TIger I can click as much as I want - nothing is ever opened. With one exception: stuff found in the meta tags (i.e. belongs to the whole page, not to a specific anchor) will open the page ok.

(By the way: w3.org confirmed that my pages are all valid strict xhtml 1.0).

So where is the Help documentation which explains to me where I am erring?

Kind regards,

Gerriet.
