[OT] Knowing hardware addresses

  • Subject: [OT] Knowing hardware addresses

Hi everybody,

my eMac is giving me headaches by mean of its loud fan.
Just tooo noisy.
It seems to me the best solution (and the less risky one) is: knowing
the hardware address of the fan, could I be able to reduce its speed by
giving a particular value to this address?

Could it be possible? How can I know hardware addresses of a Mac?
Thanks everybody.
